Construction is a high risk industry constantly presenting working men and women with an ever changing landscape of potential hazards. Making people aware of these hazards and the procedures to avoid accidents is of utmost importance.
At Milena Construction we recognise that people need leadership and education in order to recognise and minimize on site dangers.
It is our goal to provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, not only for Milena employees and sub trades but also for all other trades and contractors participating in the project, working with us.
With the assistance of our COR auditing partner, we are in the process of developing a comprehensive safety program that will encourage the development of safe work procedures and habits, so that job site safety and awareness become the accepted norm - not just "a set of rules".
Environmental Policy
At Milena Construction we promote the importance of incorporating sustainability principals into construction practices throughout all the aspects of a project we are involved in. We have particpated in many LEEDS projects
We believe that the goal of reducing greenhouse emissions is not only a matter of recycling leftover materials, but also of reducing operating costs and lowering energy consumption wherever possible.
Efficiency on the construction site results in less material and energy waste. This results in less cost to not only the owner, but all involved in the project.
To sum up all of the above, we will provide teamwork and goal oriented behaviour for your project. Our personnel trained in safe work procedures, complimented with material and energy efficient building methods will result in a better built project.
